HISTORY
The Lost Explorer is the most awarded international mezcal of 2021. A family story above all: Fortino & Xitlali. Based in Oaxaca, the “Mezcal Master” Don Fortino Ramos is one of, if not the most awarded and recognized mezcal producer in the world.
He has been perfecting his art for over two decades. His daughter, Xitlali Ramos, works closely with him and is training to become “una Maestra Mezcalera”. It’s this spirit of family, love and history that goes into every bottle of The Lost Explorer, in three variations.
DEVELOPMENT
Mezcal is made according to three basic rules:
– Celebrating the earth: handcrafted from 100% traditional agave using artisanal methods, with at least three agave plants. For each plant consumed, three are replanted. The bottles are made of recycled glass and each one is sealed with natural beeswax.
– Living curiously: curiosity is at the heart of The Lost Explorer Mezcal – guiding the making of the product but also imagining every day a sustainable future for the work and the brand.
– Community: The Lost Explorer mezcal is deeply committed to highlighting the communities of Oaxaca through local projects that will have a lasting impact on the brand and the region over time.

– 4 cl Mezcal The Lost Explorer Espadin
– 12 cl Three Cents Pink Grapefruit Soda
– 2 cl lime juice (optional)
Decoration: Gusano salt rim (agave worm).
