Where does Sorgin Yellow gin come from?
Sorgin, the first and only premium gin created from Sauvignon Blanc, is a link between wine and spirits. One year after the launch of Sorgin, Sabine and François Lurton innovate with a limited edition by creating the first batch of Yellow Gin.
How is this gin made?
Yellow Gin is aged for 6 months in oak barrels containing Sauvignon Blanc wines from Pessac Léognan and Graves (Bordeaux).
That’s why it’s so popular!
Yellow Gin is more complex than the original Sorgin but retains its characteristic freshness.
By tasting this gin you will :
The ageing in wood, in addition to the tannins, brings complex aromas, with woody notes (toasted, roasted, dried fruits), spicy (clove, ginger) but also sweet notes like vanilla and honey.
