Convite mezcal is produced in the mountains of San Baltazar Guelavila, in the Tlacolula district of the Sierra Madre del Sur. It’s a biodiversity hotspot, surrounded by mountains, waterfalls and springs at an altitude of 1,900 meters. San Baltazar Guelavila is a fertile place where different types of wild agave have developed naturally.
Thus, geography, environment and human factors all play an important role in the quality and characteristics of this mezcal, as recognized by the appellation of origin. Convite is proud to be a 100% Oaxacan industry, heir to more than five generations of knowledge in the distillation of agave and the bottling of local beverages.
The distillery is committed to protecting traditions, while offering a handcrafted beverage of the highest quality. Convite supports environmental sustainability, fair trade and community development, which is why all activities are carried out exclusively in Oaxaca.
