La Chauffouillarde – Cascade Gin:

In 2021, two brewer friends and gin lovers created Cascade Gin. The primary objective is to apply the principles of craft beers to the making of a citrus and hop gin. Priority was therefore given to highlighting powerful aromatic qualities rather than industrial yields.

This gin is produced in small batches on a traditional 100L copper still. It is composed of 9 organic botanicals (including juniper, CASCADE hops, lemon and grapefruit) carefully selected and combined to offer you a cascade of flavors.

The choice of packaging was also very important with symbols representing the brewery and the distillery: the bottle with a mechanical cap to recall the brewing side of the creators of the gin and the label in copper gilt to recall the color of the still. All of this in a stoneware bottle to ensure that the flavors of the gin are preserved in the best possible conditions, protected from light.

A slight cloudiness may appear when diluted with tonic due to the large quantity of essential oils extracted from the different botanicals. This coloring does not alter the taste qualities of the gin.

Nose : Intense with peppery and spicy notes, the juniper develops all its aroma by mixing harmoniously with the scent of citrus fruits and hops.

Taste : In the mouth, the freshness of cardamon and the power of citrus fruits (lemon, grapefruit) are mixed. The bitterness is mastered with the roundness of licorice. The length in mouth is fresh and intense with these citrus notes.
