Where does Generous Azur gin come from?
A French gin with an azure flavor!
How is this gin made?
Ingredients: Juniper, Blood Orange, Bitter Orange, Elderflower, Violet and Basil.
Why is it so popular?
“AZUR” is a new variation of the Generous Gin range. Launched in 2015, the Generous Gin brand immediately met with great enthusiasm in the “retail” market segment of wine shops, wine shop chains, Cash & Carry and On-trade.
“AZUR” declines the values which made Generous Gin a success. A very strong packaging, which makes it stand out on the shelves, an offer on a floral gin (Violet, Elderberry and Basil) with fresh juniper notes that mingle with subtle citrus touches.
Tasting advice : Mediterranean Tonic Gin Pool
In a large pool glass pour 4cl Azur Gin over plenty of ice, top up with 10cl Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic and garnish with basil leaves and a few pink peppercorns.
By tasting it you will have :
Shiny liquid surface. Color of colorless and luminous dress. Tears present particularly greasy.
Powerful, beautiful complex and typical citrus fruits of the Mediterranean basin, perfumes of Violet and sensitive touches of Basil. Nice cocktail of ripe citrus and floral notes.
Powerful, structured and particularly aromatic. Flavors of fresh Violet, notes of Basil and Blood Orange. A final that sees the arrival of the Bitter Orange.
Conclusion : beautiful set marrying complexity and suavity.
