Where does Birdie – CEDRON gin come from?
Cedrón takes you to the Andes, in the highlands of Peru. The fragrant verbena, typical of this region, combined with blueberry petals and Batak berries will give this gin a vegetal freshness that has no equal.
How is this gin made?
This gin is composed of six different botanicals: Juniper berry, fragrant verbena, blueberry, Andaliman pepper (Batak berries), cubeb pepper and sesame. All these botanicals are macerated 24 hours in a neutral alcohol of wheat of the Hauts de France then distilled with these last ones to draw a maximum of flavours from it.
By tasting this gin you will :
The nose is dominated by light citrus notes emanating from the fragrant verbena.
These notes are transposed in the mouth with the help of the Batak berries and reinforced by the cornflower petals which bring a floral lightness. The finish is marked by a slight spiciness typical of cubeb pepper.
