Maredsous is an Abbey distillery. The spirits are distilled at the Benedictine Abbey of Maredsous using traditional “London Dry Gin” distillation methods.
All recipes are based on plants from the herbalist’s shop. Local ORGANIC plants are processed before infusion in ORGANIC grain alcohol to redistill the whole and keep only the heart of the toast for the second distillation.

UNIQUE KNOW-HOW
ABBAYE de MAREDSOUS spirits are infused with medicinal plants renowned for their gustatory and therapeutic properties, in a distillate of certified organic cereals. A double distillation process at the end of which only the heating core is retained. This process gives these spirits a pure concentration of aromatic richness, with the plants used recognized for their virtues.
This selection of plants is made according to very precise criteria: ENVIRONMENT, BOTANICS and PHARMACOGNOSIS.
