DRUMSHANBO GUNPOWDER Gin Sardinian Citrus – Ceramic Bottle

PJ Rigney innovates again with a new ceramic version of one of its now iconic products: Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin Sardinian Citrus. A few thousand kilometers from the land of the Rising Sun, it is in Italy that P.J. Rigney, founder of The Shed distillery, drew his inspiration to create his Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin Sardinian Citrus. He discovered a variety of citrus fruit endemic to Sardinia, called Citrus Mostruosa or Pompia, with sweet, frank, slightly bitter and of course acidulous notes. P.J. Rigney immediately recognized the potential of this ingredient’s combination with those used in his gin. A new expression is born, it is proposed in an elegant and pure ceramic bottle. PJ Rigney has always traveled, from his family land to unknown places, in order to draw his inspiration. These travels took him to the wild and unspoiled lands of Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim in Ireland. It was here that his inquisitive mind, filled with the oriental traditions of distilling fruits, herbs and botanicals, began to work. He created The Shed Distillery, using medieval copper pot stills, and began his quest to merge the oriental botanicals he discovered in his travels with those of the Irish lands. This new ceramic version of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin Sardinian Citrus is a modern, qualitative bottle with a clean and warm design. It completes the range of ceramic bottles of The Shed Distillery.
