Distilled Dry Gin L.N. Mattei is the result of the distillation of a selection of plants and citrus fruits inspired by the aromatic richness of the Corsican maquis.
The Distilled Dry Gin LN Mattei is obtained by unique distillation of a 24-hour maceration of plants composing our recipe including juniper berries, zests of Cedars and Corsican Lemons, bay leaves, etc…
Each production requires 12 to 14 distillations. Produced in our Holstein alembic, allowing to optimize the preservation of the aromatic profile of each plant and fruit composing our recipes. Each distillate, titrating between 60 and 76°, is then reduced with Corsican spring water.
LN Mattei gin has a nice juniper nose with light vegetal and herbaceous touches, brought more particularly by laurel and immortelle. It is enriched in the mouth with notes of maquis and citrus fruits exhaled by the lemons and citrons of Corsica, bringing a beautiful freshness. Its unique taste is balanced on a light and round finish.
