Where does Isle of Harris Gin come from?
Established in 2015 on the island of Lewis and Harris, Harris Distillery stands proudly facing the sea.
How is this gin made?
The Isle of Harris Gin is incredibly fresh, clean and complex. It has the particularity of being marked by the Sugar kelp, a seaweed specific to the island that enters the composition of this gin alongside 8 other botanicals.
That’s why it’s so popular!
The bottle captures the natural essence of the island, inspired by the movement of the sand on the long beaches of Luskentyre. Isle of Harris Gin is a Hebridean gem that has more than one story to tell.
By tasting this gin you will :
Precise, fresh and fruity. The nose opens with juniper berries and then evokes pine needles, lemon and bitter orange peel. Passing through coriander and rose, it then evolves on maritime notes.
Palate: fresh, balanced and mineral. The juniper berries combine harmoniously with pine and fruit notes (mango, grapefruit, orange). The final is long and subtle, the finish evolves on black pepper, iodized and vanilla notes.
Bottle: 70cl
Alcohol: 45%.
